Connect Dropbox from Integrations to automatically push approved documents into a dedicated App Folder in your Dropbox.
Scope
docEvault only requests access to that app-specific folder, not your whole Dropbox. It cannot read or modify anything outside it. If you disconnect, the files already copied there stay where they are — they're yours.
What gets synced
Approved documents. Files still under review or marked as needing revision aren't copied, so the folder reflects what you've actually accepted rather than everything a client has ever uploaded.
When it's worth using
Connect Dropbox if your firm's real filing system is Dropbox and docEvault is the collection front-end. It saves the download-and-refile step on every completed request.
If you'd rather pull files down in bulk when a request finishes, Download All may suit you better.
Reconnecting
If the connection stops working, disconnect and reconnect from Integrations. Reconnecting re-authorizes docEvault with Dropbox and is the fix for most sync problems.
