Invite colleagues from Team so requests, contacts, and templates are shared across your organization rather than locked to one person.
Sending an invite
Send an invite by email. If it expires before they accept, resend it — a Resend invite action appears for seats that were never claimed.
Make sure they accept the invite rather than signing up separately. Signing up fresh creates a second, empty organization, and nothing is shared between organizations.
Encryption comes first
A new team member can sign in straight away, but they can't open encrypted documents until they either know your organization's encryption passphrase or are granted access by an existing member from that member's own session.
Plan for this before you need it. If exactly one person can unlock the vault and they're on leave, new hires can't be onboarded onto existing documents.
Seats and sessions
Each paid seat supports one active session at a time. Logging in on a new device signs the previous session out. If you're unexpectedly signed out, that's usually why — see Why was I logged out?.
This means seats are per person, not per device. Two people sharing one seat will keep knocking each other out of the app.
Removing someone
Removing a member ends their access. Their historical activity stays on the requests and contacts they worked on, so removing someone doesn't erase the record of what they did.
